LeBron, Are You Serious?

What happened this week at the LeBron James Skills Academy, we may never know, but LeBron James was allegedly dunked on. By a college kid.

Xavier sophomore (and former Hoosier) Jordan Crawford was playing in a pickup game after hours with LeBron, and apparently dunked on LeBron. Of course there's no way LeBron could ever be dunked on; he is the King after all; so LeBron had a Nike rep who was standing courtside confiscate the video tape of a freelance photographer who had caught the mythical dunk on camera.

Are you serious LeBron? You can't handle that? You think your image would be harmed that much by this video? Sure people are going to talk about it for awhile, but eventually it would be forgotten, and everyone moves on. Now, everyone will remember this for a long time because you made such a stink about it. You can't just congratulate the young man and move on?

Here's Jordan Crawford about what happened

According to Ryan Miller, the photographer who shot the event, he and every other photographer there had their tapes confiscated, with Nike citing a policy saying no after hours filming is allowed.

My question to Nike is, why didn't you stop him from the get-go then? If it were against the rules, it should be made clear before the after hours pick up game that videotaping isn't allowed.

It's the second time in the last month or so that LeBron has shown poor sportsmanship. Of course, he refused ton congratulate Dwight Howard and the Magic just after they knocked Cleveland out of the playoffs. For a man who is the face of the game and the role model for many young kids, he needs to show a better attidude. He's going to be rattled by fans from here on out. I, for one, will be sure to yell at him if I ever have the chance.

If anyone comes across this video, let me know because I would love to see it.
