Manny to Begin Rehab Stint

Manny Ramirez's 50-game suspension for violating MLB's drug policy is over on July 3rd, and he is expected to return to the lineup right away.

First, he's going to go on a "rehab" assignment beginning tomorrow in Albequerque. He's been working out on his own as well. It's not like he's been injured or anything. I would expect him to tear up Triple A while he's there and come back to the Dodgers ready to go.

The Dodgers already have the best record in baseball, and they're about to get Manny back. Whether he cheated or not, some call him the best right-handed hitter the game has ever seen. I expect a fresh Manny Ramirez, and for the Dodgers to open up their lead even further as they firmly establish themselves the favorites to come out of the National League
